You have 26 Insurers offering quotations, would it not be possible to have 1 quote form that could be completed for all 26 companies??

I am sure that most members would not complete 26 forms, they would however complete 1 form for 26 quotations.

The 26 companies involved may be happy to pick up the software costs??

Cool idea, never going to happen, something called competition might spoil it.

Check out this website I have found www.quotiva.net/motorhome, it does exactly what you are after, fill in one form and the companies on their books call back with quotations, similar to how confused.com work for car insurance

Thankyou very much for the link. The "comma" at the end of your link prevents it from being opened so here it is again

I shall certainly try it in November.

I have just used this web site.

Took about 5 minutes to fill in the form and I had 4 phone calls within the hour and two emails.

Regrettably some companies cant be bothered to read the form they have been forwarded, and ask you all the questions again, where as some seem able to quote immediately. So if you dont want to spend 10 minutes per call, tell them to quote on the information they have, like the other companies have been able to!

The good news is one broker has undercut my existing policy (Still with Chaucer) by £100!

Also as a thank you for using the site you get £40 placed in a "Virgin Wines" account. Has anyone any experience of this? I havent read the small print yet!

Hi

Thanks for the feedback re Quotiva.

Regards to Virgin Wines, I have had various promotions and each time the wine was delivered as ordered. They are happy to deliver the wine to your address or leave it somewhere - such as behind the shed etc.
