Hi Folks

Were planning a touring holiday in New Zealand and have 2yrs old twins, we've never used a motor home before and our first question was where do the baby seats go? we were quoted one which was based on a Ford transit, but the baby seats went right at the back Sad Are there models which are more baby friendly than others? They seem to have most european models in NZ.

Thanks

Can't offer any personal advice re the child seats as we don't have any (children, not seats Rolling Eyes ), but would agree with Hymer 544 about a central dinette as these generally have seatbelts and the seats are much closer to driver and passenger or if one of you wanted to sit with the twins, you would still be able to chat to the driver.

As for New Zealand - you will have a wonderful time. It was hiring a van there 4 years ago that first planted the seed for us to buy one. When and how long are you going for? Have you got any plans of where to go?

If you have any questions on New Zealand, I will try to help, but info may be a bit outdated after 4 years! They are very geared up for m/homers and the outdoor life in general. Have a fab time!
