USB Memory Stick Password

I've decided to scan all my documents and put them on a memory stick for foreign travel instead of carrying duplicates.
Does anybody know of a way of encrypting the memory stick in case it gets lost or into the wrong hands.

On the other hand, if you'd like a lot more memory, yesterday I researched USB flash drives and bought two for my son and me:
