Hi All,

I want to fit a Gaslow s/s hose with a gauge. Due to my regulator being left to right if I fit a 1620 sinle unit gauge to the regulator the dial will be facing away from view if the outlet is downwards. If I turn it upwards I don't think I have enough room to fit the hose in the vertical position (see photo). I think a 1610 adapter gauge may be an alternative fitted to the bottle but would the s/s hose fit the 1610?
Has anyone else had this problem?
Many thanks,

Graham

Am I being silly but why not just unscrew the mounting bracket and mount it vertical.

Hi;

Not sure if an Orian Saturn is similar to a Nuevo gas locker (after all they're all made by a/sleepers) but if you look at the attached photo it shows the set up in my old Nuevo with one calor and one gaslow. Due to the regulator being in a similar place as yours, on Gaslows advice we fitted a "propane manual changeover (special)" gauge - part no 01 - 1632 in the gaslow catalogue. AFAIK all stainless hoses are designed to fit all the gaslow gauges but check with them first, Jacquie at Gaslow is always helpful and knowledgeable about all gaslow products.

Part no 01 - 1632

Thanks everyone that has given me a lot to go on. I don't want to change the plane of the regulator just in case there is a technical reason for installing this way.

Pete, I guess if I fit the change over gauge 1632 and only use one bottle I can get a blank to blank off the unwanted outlet?

I did speak to a guy at gaslow but the only thing he offerd was a double chanheover system which I don't really want (just a guage and a s/s hose to prevent the tarry gunge)

What about if I used a 1610 easyfit adapter gauge and a 1610/20 stainless steel hose, the gauge would be at the cylinder end?

Do gaslow supply blanking caps? Is there a reason why you're not using two bottles, ie not enough room?

It's not clear what bottle you are using, if its a propane bottle the easy fit will fit but it wont on a gaslow bottle as far as I'm aware.

I hope you get sorted but you really do need to speak to gaslow again I think and as i said they've always been very helpful.
