So WTF am I going to do!!?!?

And what do I do with a 3 week old BRAND NEW UNUSED and full calor lite cylinder AND a normal one with 3kg of gas left! Sad
Bah. Shocked

If ever s project looked flawed this does Sad

Is there no chance of making an 11kg one fit - the price is the same ( I think ).

You still have no backup for the day you can't find LPG. Gaslow is interchangeable with Calor. But a balls-ache swapping them.

You in theory get your deposit back if you return a can, if you have the paperwork.

Best bet is buy a van with a better gas locker.

Hi

No chance of 2x6 or 1x11. The van is a 4.8m panel van fully kitted - and give it its due - it wasn't really desighned for 2 months wild touring! Smile Which is what its going to be getting. As this will be in Europe - calor won't be possible.
As we'll be touring rather than sitting in one place, filling up LPG evey time we stop for diesel (assuming its on 50% or less marker) is hardly a chore.
(Yes - you can fill up on the bottle, but the rules/regs say it has to be an external filler not part of the bottle. If I was going to ignore rules I would have stuck with eBay item Wink)
(And yes - I could buy a different van - but nothing with my criteria would be close - and anyway - its the one we've got)
So - decided to go for it for piece of mind knowing we can now wild camp and use gas to our hearts content.
Only time will tell if its a good investment or a bad one - but when taken into account the money is a drop in the ocean over our 18 month trip budget Surprised
Apprecaite all the advice & tips
Van is with dealer next week for service and 1st MOT and they will fit then....

Will advise how it goes.
