I am not sufficiently familiar with the DVB demux process to visualise this but this sounds more like poor receiver filtering prior to demuxing rather than an aerial problem. If it is, then with the increased transmitter powers and with a good quality receiver, perhaps the omni, at least in the mobile environment, will produce better results most of the time when receiving digital than it does analogue and we will no longer have to fiddle around pointing aerials in the right direction?? I'm ever hopeful Smile I guess only time will really tell.

It also begs the question that in the mobile environment, are digital receivers with better unwanted frequency rejection required to facilitate the use of wideband aerials?
