Thanks for the link. Have been thinking of getting one for a while but procrastinating! This offer has made me take the plunge. Lets hope it's OK!!

Took advantage of the £7.50 offer. All arrived OK, but failed to work after 2 days took it back to 3 shop. But couldn't swap due scanner problems with internet purchases. Phoned customer services in India from 3 shop - very awkward attitude would not replace would not accept was faulty even when speaking to shop manager. Finally Manager put the phone down on Customer Services !

He then arranged for me to visit another store to swap over - all worked OK but took over three hours ! I think they may send out dodgy dongles on the cheap deal ? All working well at present. brave

If you have a great connection - yes.

Hi

I agree ...not that you need more than one answer but it inspires a bit of confidence if you hear that it works for more than one Wink .

I have the ZTE dongle ( black with green stripe) and with a good signal not only can I use Skype but I can use BT softphone too.

Also as suggested in an earlier post : get a long USB extension cable so that you can elevate the dongle ..I have been known to hoist mine up on the TV aerial to get a signal ( sad innit Rolling Eyes )

I am just back from the bank holiday where I had a 1 meg plus connection ... really fast... mind you I could see the transmission mast Wink

Only one gripe ...BBC Iplayer says it cannot show me any programs via the dongle ...says I am not in the UK Shocked

. There is some debate as to whether it's through Quidco only, and available to anyone or just current customers. 18 months contract.

Its deffo on via Quidco again - from £5 per month for 1Gb!!! (and £7.50 for 5Gb). IMO for light use - 1Gb is fine and an absolulte bargain. Some small cashback to.

VIA QUIDCO you DO NOT have to be an existing customer.
