Hi, I'm intending to tour the Belgian Ardennes in early July. I have e-mailed three possible sites in French & English, only one has replied saying that they only do annual 'loisirs' pitch rental. Any tips on how to get hold of pitch availability? Also any experience of when the peak time begins, I'm returning just before schools finish. thanks

Hi there,
I emailed the Belgian tourist office and they sent me the attached list if this is of any help.

how about this

http://www.belgium-tourism.net/contenus/tourisme/en/704.html

We've stopped at Han-sur-Lesse overnight a couple of times when travelling down towards Luxembourg, once in a site (I think it's linked on the website), and once in the official motorhome parking. A nice town, with caves and miniature railway, plenty of Restaurants. It's only a few KM from the mototrway.

Thanks, that's one of the sites which I have e-mailed asking about a pitch, but no response! Whereabouts is the oficial MH parking? I've got a googlemap of the town. regards richard

Laughing Well, eventually I did receive two replies to my e-mails, after 5 and 6 days. I'd have thought businesses would reply more quickly than that. Unfortunately my website virus alert software (SiteHound) regards 'users.pandora.be' as a risky website so I have not been able to check out stopovers. Thanks for the download suggestions, the most informative site I have found so far is 'campingo.be' even if it is a commercial website.

hello wrinkley9
sorry I didn't see your reply on Monday. The location of the Aire is to the north of Rue de la Lesse, entrance by the junction of the the Rue de Gite D'Etape. There's a coach & truck park on the left, motorhome parking to the right.
