Does anyone know if it is somehow possible to leave my sidelights switched on without having to have the ignition switched on, I only noticed this last w/e after fitting led sidemarker lights instead of bulb type to our 06 Fiat Ducato/Rapido
Cheers
Chris

If your fiat is the old shape ( dont know if it applies to new shape) where you put the key in the ignition there is a small button on the key barrel, press this in and turn key off another click this will put parking lights on.

Hi
we have a 1997 boxer so i am not sure if yours is the same.
With ours if you want to leave the side lights turn the headlights on with the engine running then press the button on the top of the ignition and turn off and remove key and the sidelights will stay on

seems very complicated just to put sidelights on, shame they did not include the 2 power points in dash at the same time as they both switch off too !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys, I did think it odd that it was not possible to leave the sidelights on
I had to ask on here to find out how it works aswell. I also though it was a bit of a pain just to get the sidelights on. However I went to Denmark on holiday this year in the van and you have to drive with dipped headlights on all the time.
It was therefore easy to leave the headights switched on all the time and they then go out when you switch the ignition off.
