People, I do not have motor-home though I have a solar system waiting to be installed. I gather most of guys here, you are in Europe. The loaction I will put my system lies in 19 Degrees South (-19 degrees North?).

I would like to ask how does a single 100 watt Solar panel, or any other you have, perform on an complete overcast day, drizzling, I mean those winter days. Those who have experienced this can you give me amps readings as well. I need to do some calculations as we experience these days in June and July.

Does a very windy but sunny day reduces Solar Panel output?

Thanks

Bobby

Hi Bobby.

OK my experience is of 2 off 90 W panels so you can divide any result by two.

I've never experienced zero output in any level of daylight. There's always been some current coming out of my panels during daytime. I would say that on the worst day I can recollect the solar output was down to 1.5 to 2 Amps. That's about 20% of the full output on a good sunny day. The output does get higher than this though as the cloud cover passes & you can watch the current vary as the light levels go up & down.

Wind has no effect on your panel's output. You could try taking Andrews Liver Salts, I've found this helps Laughing

Dave.
