how do you mean Russell ?
do you mean Add a motorhome or add fuel stops ?
if the latter, once you have entered a mh into the tracker then it will have a little red icon next to it which looks like a petrol pump, just click on it and fill in the form

Well done Nuke!

I'm looking forward to using this.

I always lose the bits of paper showing what we spend on diesel!

This will help - I have no idea what we spend on fuel.. Embarassed

I've just realised an issue with my entry. I use self stored biodiesel (I haven't used dino for about 5 yrs) and my supply is unmetered so I can only guess what I've put in and of course my PPL costs are significantly less than dino diesel!

Nuke, feel free to delete my entry!

Can I suggest you alter the price per litre to THREE decimal places as it is displayed at the pumps. By only having two decimals your average results will become more inaccurate the more data you enter as I found with my own spreadsheet analysis of fuel consumption for three vehicles
over the last three years.

May I also suggest the bar graph is replaced by a line graph, and trend analysis graph of those results.

Also, I think it's pretty irrelevant almost to the point of being distracting to display the Average Price Per Gallon.

FINALLY. Will the data gathered from ALL vehicles of same make model engine size and fuel type, be merged together to give an overall picture.
If so, it may be wise to ask users to enter the initial mileage on the vehicle into the form the first time they use it. That way it's possible to give an average fuel consumption for a particular make/model for a particular mileage band or average mileage.

Hi all,

WHat a great new feature, let's hope we're all honest!

How about a depreciation per mile cost as well, just to put things in perspective?

David

hi all sorry did a few updates today

The main issue was that to bring in some new facilities i had to rethink how it was all stored and some data was erroneous, the easiest way to sort this was to wipe the filling data entered so far, as there were only around 30 entries i thought it wise to do this now rather than let the problem escalate.

Apologies to all who entered data prior to today but the system will never be changed from here on in Smile

Anyway lots of new changes all for the better as follows:

Rectified a bug whereby removing a fuelling stop entry recalculates the average mpg correctly

changed the cost per litre to 3 dec placed as per zozzer suggestion (thx)

Added the ability for new motorhomes added from today to have a photo uploaded (I will make this retro for old entries also)

Added in a search comparison allowing you to filter for many aspects to find other vans of the same type, chassis, fuel, model etc and / or see vans with best / worst mpg, entries with photos

Now onto zozzers excellent suggestions

I intend to add line graphing Zozzer, lol just as soon as I have sussed out the coding to do it Wink

Good idea and yes I will add that facility in Smile
