Just been clearing out our cupboards and found an unused 600watt grill. Can anyone tell me if this will be useable in France, bearing in mind hook-ups are usually low amperage ie, 6amp. Funny thing is, it originated in France (free gift with French catalogue) Any advice gratefully received.

Thank you,

Texas

Thanks for your reply George...is there a formula for working out Watts to amps then, for future reference?

Thank you,

Hi

Watts divided by Voltage, for UK 240 v average and in Europe 220 v will give you a good idea.

Just out of interest I have checked the mains voltage its 248.86 tonight !
