I think it is very good that Fiat have joined the forum and will obviously be doing what they can to help owners of Fiat based motorhomes.

Our Rapido is on a Fiat Ducato base and I concur with others that it is a great drive, easy and comfortable. ( Just wish they would use proper Jubilee clips and not those one use things that snap! )

Fiat like Swift will no doubt get slated from time to time, however, if like Swift they try to help ( and are given some time to do so) then they will get some excellent P.R and happy customers. ( although we are happy with our Rapido at the mo' we will definately take a look at Swift for our next one).

Regards Rob.

Hi,
I received the following e-mail from Fiat last week which answers most of my questions though I am a bit confused that I have 1 year AA cover AND 3year RAC cover running at the same time! I am more than happy that I now have it confirmed (in writing) that I have the 3 year RAC recovery so thanks Fiat!
I did ask for further clarification on points they didn't answer and I am sure I will get a response soon.

Tom

Dear Mr Robertson

Thank you for taking the time to contact us at Fiat Professional with concerns with warranty information your Ducato Motorhome.

Having investigated this concern further I would like to confirm that your vehicle has the 2 year Pan European manufacturers warranty applicable.

As with all commercial vehicles the panel conversion has 1 year AA recovery. This would apply to all panel van conversions carried out.

There is also on your vehicle a 3 year RAC recovery service which expires 30th July 2011.

I hope that this information is helpful to you and thank you for taking the opportunity to contact us.

If you would like to discuss any of your concerns I can be contacted on our Customer Relations freephone number 00800 3428 0000.

Yours sincerely,
