This might not be a top tip but it came in handy for us
under the seats on the fiat base there is a plastic cover
if you give it a good jank there is storage space,I use it
to put our walking boots under one and tools under the
other.
You can access this from the front and depending on your
motorhome from the rear.

Yes
In our last motorhome it stored the battery so might be a
place for a spare battery also.
