advice on mercedes 307d

MH: Mercedes 307D

HI to all & sundry
Have an ex ambulance 307D- good mechanics but bodywork is attracting rust at light speed. Can anyone recommend a honest and reliable bodyshop in the london area or give any advice as to DIY.
If there any merc owners out there please feel free to chat, pass on advice and stories ( going to northern Spain to celebrate me 40th ow! so any advice on that score would be kind)
Anyone know good merc mechanics in London - Big Please on that one!
