I have the built in Kathrein system that was on the mh when i bought it, its the CAP system with HDP positioner. I have bought a PACE Javelin mini digibox and got a subscription to Sky sorted.

Activated the card today and got a strange issue,

I can watch all the sky channels bar the following:-

bbc1
bbc2
itv1
bbc4
itv2
itv3
men & motors
sky travel
e4

How i have it setup is that there is a signal splitter on the satellite signal from the dish that goes to the Kathrein receiver and to the PACE Digibox.

I have the PACE Box shutdown, and the Kathrein system up and running, i position the dish on the Sky Astra satellite by selecting BBC1 on the Kathrein receiver, once the signal is ok i then shutdown the Kathrein system and turn on the Sky Digibox.

The only thing i can think of is that some of the channels are on a slightly different satellite / setting.

Any advice gratefully accepted Wink

Very Happy Hi nukeadmin. You may have your Kathrien locked on to the wrong stream? Maybe Satcure can help on this link:-

Very Happy Hi Dave. Your Kathrien may be picking up a different BBC area to what your Pace has been set up to receive. I'm sure you know about the North and the South stream? Just a thought.

Very Happy Hi Dave. Just a small point. You say you have had the Sky Card activated. But have you had in for the 24 hours that they suggest it may take? Sometimes when the card is activated. Some of the channels can be seen straight awat and so we assume it has activated correctly (not always so). If the Kathrien (I have the old Analogue Kathrien) has found BBC in a certain point? It may not be the correct position for the other channels. You should find all the information on the link above. Especially take note of number 12. Wink

Hi - I had a similar problem, receiving some transponders and not others. I checked and found I could not receive any vertical transponders with the MH dish/LNB but could receive horizontal transponders okay.

Testing the sat receiver with another dish/LNB found the sat receiver switched between vertical & horizontal okay, replacing the MH LNB rectified the problem.

Its too hot to check your list against the transponders used - sorry but good luck anyway.
