Hi
We have just acquired a AS Talisman & are very pleased with it except I am experiencing discomfort in the navigators seat. Our previous van was a Kontiki, the AS seat seems quite a lot shorter (hip to knee measurement).A swivel is fitted, which raises the seat too high for me & there is no provision to adjust the slant of the seat base (as in the drivers seat) Help please, any suggestions, comments welcome! We think this site is brill.

We looked at changing to a Symbol but found the seat was much too high especially when swivelled. Alot of the motorhome magazine seem to have letters about using boxes or levelling chocks to raise passengers feet.
We decided in the end to get a Duetto and with that due to the swivel being fitted it means that your head is quite high. Have though of removing the swivel and seeing the diference. So perhaps yours is the same that the swivel base is the problem. We don't need to use the swivel for bed purposes so who knows perhaps it will be joing the rear step in the garage lol.

Thanks for your suggestions. Removing the swivel will reduce the height but will not solve the problem completely. We did wonder if a ' seat base slant adjustment ' as found on the drivers seat could be fitted to the navigators seat. Has anyone tried this?
Clever suggestion Nobby---utilising items already to hand !
