You need to tell us what software. IE4 5 6 7 or 8. Firefox? Thunderbird, Outlook or outlook express etc etc. Versions do matter as some fileformats are not compatible across versions. .pst is outlook if memory serves.

Cheers

Importing is the opposite of the exporting you have already done. In Internet Explorer click File Import Favorites and point to your exported file.

Same in Outlook and in the Address Book. Should be straight forward. What problems are you having exactly?

For firefox (and thunderbird) it's very easy. just use MozBackup.
http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/ I take regular backups of my data using this and it is very reliable.

For outlook. it depends on if you are using outlook or outlook express the menu bars are slightly different and for outlook vary depending on which version. If you are using IMAP for email then you don't need to backup the data just the settings as your email is still on the server and will be re-downloaded next time you connect.

In IE8 click on File (top left) and 'Import and Export' then 'From a File' and the 'Favorites' Point at the Favorites file you have exported from your old PC and they should all come in.

AOL just stores everything online so when you change PCs it files everything onto the new machine.

Address book, favorites, recent e-mails and stored e-mails.
