Hi all, a friend brought me a leaflet the other week concerning the Unwin Power Step, PS5-60C, cost £1,667.

Has anyone seen these steps demonstrated at any of the recent shows, my friend had the leaflet from the last Shepton Show.
Our van is a swift 600s, and from ground level to entry into the living space it is 27 inches,we have a double retractable step, but due to the Wifes disability she just cannot use the steps.
The Power step has a lift of 24 inches, and will lift up to 25 stone and is supposed to be quite stable, and runs off of a 12volt supply.

If anyone has seen these Power steps demonstrated, what was your opinion, worth the money, too bulky, or to heavy, or too slow, or just the job for a disabled person to get in and out of the van,any comments appreciated, or if you knoww of something similar at a lower price, let me know,

Mike and Pearl
