Don't worry Tony, I've got a digger!
Thanks for all the info guys.....
I'll check out the camp sites around the area and see what kind of rates I can get.
Tigger, are you saying I can offset £35 per night if staying on a campsite? What about the mileage backwards and forwards at 25p per mile?
If I just choose a different "wild camp" all night, I guess I'd be limited on power, how long does it take to charge a leisure battery back up (HLAPOS?) or would a small generator be an option?
Am I crazy? |

Hi steles,
well, in Germany, France, Italy and the Scandinavian countries there is a vast network of motorhome service points outside of camp sites, so no probs here.
In other countries (like UK for instance) I dump the toilet cassette into a public toilet (I have a Sog ventilation and do not use any chemicals, so it's just pure poo and pee and that belongs into the toilet anyway). Then I use the emptied toilet cassette to carry the grey water into the same public toilet. For fresh water we usually ask at the petrol station when refuelling. So far this has never been refused.
Every other week or so we do spend one or two nights on a camp site for doing some laundry. Then we also refill fresh and empty grey/black water before leaving.
Best Regards,
Gerhard |

I've always found it to be twice the length of the measurement from the end to the middle
I'm still learning about leisure batteries due to being a newcomer to MHing. One suggestion would be the 'search forums' feature on this site, as I expect there will be an enourmous amount of posts on this subject. |
