that's a nice site, good walking / cycling - the old railway line runs through the site. It's a bit remote for access to pubs / facilities etc, though. We were there in January (or was it February); seemed to be used by a number of full-timers then.

That sound great but with no toilet facilites, isn't that quite expensive or am I not up to date, as usual!
I bet they are making a lot more money out of campers than trees! Wink

I know it well, though hadn't appreciated they now banned generators.

I don't know what to do about the New Year period; I can manage 4 full days and nights away taking no annual leave, so that's tempting. Trouble is, for years all I've ever wanted for Christmas (I have front teeth, thanks) is Christmas Day at home with JUST my immediate family, but we've always played host to extended family. However, this year offers the prospect of what I've always wanted, but only if we're taken over in the New Year instead Sad

Just a word of warning here. Units have vanished in broad daylight. Do make sure you leave your unit securely locked alarmed etc etc when leaving unnattended.

Crime has been very prevelant in this area in recent months
