Hi. I have shopped til I dropped in this respect and the range of quotes varied from £367.00 to (wait for it) £1644.10!
The £367.00 was with Safeguard and the gave a further reduction for being a member of a club - about £20.00.
So in theory just under £350.00 including breakdown cover etc for a Peugeot Compass 2.2 Avantgarde.
I am 33 and the sole driver.
I have taken the policy out but can I ask what sort of premiums you pay for similar vehicles. One company would not quote me as i am too young!!!!!!!!!

Some of those seem a bit steep ! however, it will be goverened by where you live, what your driving record is, if you have any No Claims Bonus to apply to the vehicle, etc. I have just had to take out insurance for our Starline in my own name, as my wife no longer feels able to drive the beast (Too big !), and the insurance company quoted me an introductory insurance premium based on the fact that I had 65% bonus on my car - I had to prove it though!
I'm paying in the region of £220 + legal expenses/breakdown cover etc - but I have clean claims history, the vehicle is parked offroad in a low crime area, etc

Well my car insurance is max discount/protected and is for a performance model, yet it is cheaper than the van!
Never mind, I will always refuel in Luxembourg to cut a few costs!
