Hi people.

I know the Pamploma _ Salamanca route well, but I have never taken the ferry to Bilbao & tried to get out of the place.

So, is leaving the port easy & well marked?

& what is the favoured route to join the Salamanca road please?

TIA

(& err. dare I mention this? -- we will have 6metre caravan on the back for our sins, so I don't fancy wrong slotting Sad )

Getting out of Bilbao port is fairly straightforward

You will very quickly get on to the A8 which runs round the south of the city. Then lookout for the exit to Burgos and use that road.

I suppose the rest of the trip is about how quickly you need/want to get to Salamanca

Thxs Pete.

I actually want to get to a hut in Monchique, Portugal asap --- I mentioned Salamanca to see how much of the corner could be cut off from Bilbao Exclamation Smile

Not going til sunny February ------- however if Patsy (who cannot dance) stays in yet again tonight , we shall be off tomorrow in a futile gesture of disgust Rolling Eyes

Forgive me, but I am curious --- just what are all those letters after your name Question

Good luck with the nose job ................. not easy on the Sevel chassis.

Hi Hedge

It is straight forward

As you leave the Docks head for Bibao / Burgos
it takes you straight into Bilbao & on to the A8 Madrid
Down to Cordoba > Sevilla > Portugal Monchique is on the same road
