Ok so you have downloaded the files and unzipped them to a directory. assuming you are using windows XP. connect tomtom 700 to the PC then switch it on. click start on the PC and 'my computer' you will see the tomtom as drive 'E' open drive C and locate the poi files highlight the poi files and in 'Files and folder tasks' click 'copy these files' a window opens with tomtom 'E' click on tomtom 'E' and copy the poi files (not the folder) to the maps of western europe in the tomtom 'E' . switch off the tomtom and disconnect the usb cable. restart tomtom/change preferences scroll right to manage poi's then enable poi's. you will see the poi's you have downloaded then tap the box to put a tick in it. job done. if you are not using windows XP just drag and drop.
