Preamble:- We travel to Northern Europe for our holidays.
We use a new Avtex TV for receiving Digital/terrestrial channels in the countries we visit.
In Norway we could not receive any channels whereas in all other countries reception was excellent.

During the past few weeks I have telephoned and e-mailed Avtex a number of times and finally got an answer.

I have been informed about the following points:-

Avtex TVs will not operate in Norway.
The broadcast output in Ireland is changing soon and they will not then work there also.
The same for Holland where the output will also probably change in the near future.

For the many who follow the sheep trails south I believe there is no change imminent so all should be well for the foreseeable future. Wink
