I've bought quite a few items off eBay, including a couple from Hong Kong.

Items such as;
Video camera for van (reversing)
Lcd screen
GPS mouse
Compressor fridge for van
mobile phones
Power supplies
Software
Omnivent

Don't buy through Western Union
Use Paypal to get backup if things go wrong
Don't bother with Postal orders

Leave bidding until the LAST 5 minutes or less if your brave to stop other bids higher than yours. % minutes is just enough time to get a second bid in if your out bidded by a previous higher bidder. Dont bid on the half pound like £2.50 £3.00 etc, go for £2.52 or £3.02 as most people bid to the nearest 50p so if they have you'll just get in over the top of them.

Hi,

I've just bought a st nav off e-bay, cost 430 quid for the whole package. It would of cost about 600 in the shops i think its a bargain.

We've bought a few things off e-bay including a new Tivo PVR and a French language course for £30.00 which was £65.00 in Smiths.

Not been brave enough to buy a couple from Hong Kong yet. We're not into servants and in any case won't they get classified as illegal immigrants even though you've bought them? Smile
