Hi we're about to buy a Fiat Hobby 600 (2000 model) 2.8 TDI to tour Northern Spain and Portugal this summer...
...this will be our frist motorhome purchase in the UK since travelling Oz 4 years ago in a Toyota Hi-ace "poptop".
We would appreciate comments you may have about the van, both good and bad before we spend our hard earned cash !!! Many thanks... Wink

Hello, you have obviously done some motorhoming, so it is not a new venture in that aspect. this means that you should know what sort of layout you would like in a Van.also then comes the price, not forgetting will it fit on the driveway.
take it for a long test drive, put the beds down to try.if buying private and the owner is dubious about a 20 min drive walk away.start again. but above all do not be seduced into buying if you have some doubts.go and have a cuppa tea.

Can't comment on the Fiat 600 but we have a 2005 T600 (Ford) and can attest to the fact that Hobby build quality and finish is as good as any we have come across.

I have heard Gaspodes comments echoed by other members when I went through a phase asking about these m\homes and in particular, the Ford was the best option for this one giving better performance and economy.
