Can anybody tell me likely road conditions through Alpine Passes at Easter ? - we have only been through July-September time.

Every year is different and remember Easter is quite early this year.

I have not had any trouble late March but the passes are always signed as "open/closed" well in advance.

Just returned from Lake Garda - they had snow on the ground there - I have never seen snow around the Lake before. The point being as mentioned - every year is good.

Phone the local tourist offices etc/interest etc
