The map function makes the database eminently usable, whereas before I'm not sure I ever considered it to plan a stop. When we get too many per county/region, time for a multimap link, though it doesn't seem beyond the wit of man to put this on your post-subs todo list.

There already is a multimap link Dave, as long as you put a full postcode in, just checked a few of mine and they work fine Wink .

Marvellous database, easy for someone to plan a route through towns and regions, and find reccommended sites in that area! Very Happy Very Happy

Now let's all get busy filling it up, and making it a No.1 seller for the site!!

Regards M&D Smile

p.s Is it possible to go back later and add photos, I ask because the ones I wish to use are to put it bluntly crap! however some of the sites I intend to input I'm visiting again, hopefully taking better snaps! Embarassed

you don't seem to have lifted the submitters ability to modify an entry

Modifications are limited atm to prevent malicious modification by people until the subscriptions have become mandatory at the end of the month

Does this mean that at the moment we can't modify our own submissions to add the new data? I have tried to do this, without success.

Hi Nuke,

I have seen that during your upgrades you have replaced X/Y specifications for the GPS coordinate by "Latitude" and "Longitude". Which makes much more sense.

But could it be that you have mixed up the two? So far the link to the map interpreted "X" as longitude and "Y" as latitude. Now it is the other way round, which throws most of my German sites into the Persian Gulf... Shocked

Will you change that or shall I edit all my sites once I can edit again?

Best Regards,
Gerhard

lol y it was wrong way around, i have swapped it around and should be ok now,

I am coding up a better interface for entering the co-ords which constrains it somewhat so that you have to enter the correct format that is required Smile

Hello Nuke,

Have just added a first entry on Campsite database without any problems. Noticed that there is no mention of Disabled Facilities in Check Boxes. Can these be added or should an entry be made in General Comments with a fuller description?

If you are going to add Disabled may I suggest the boxes "Disabled Toilets" and "Disabled Wash-room".

Regards,

Mike.
