Hello Brian

I can sympathise with you there. Our wireless mouse & keyboard has been ok until about a week to 10 days ago. Sometimes one or both have a mind of their own. Other times thy work fine as now. Having said that I see the 'e' is missing from they. So folks apologies if my posts seem as if I am talking rubbish.

We have reinstalled them. Only other thing to try is reinstalling windows & thats the other halfs domain.

Hi, Might seem obvious, I had trouble a while back with a keyboard, (gave up with the mouse) change or check the batteries.

I have an Apple not a PC so what follows this might be absolutely useless but here goes anyway.

I have wifi and I have wireless mouse and keyboard but they are completely seperate systems. The mouse and keyboard work off bluetooth and I thought they all did nowadays. If that is true on your system then it is nothing to do with the router.

The rational is that the mouse and keyboard are close to the computer and are slow speed devices therefore blutooth with its limited range speed and bandwidth is ideal.

The only problem I ever get is battery related and that's mainly my fault because I use rechargeables. Bluetooth on the apple at least is notorious for not picking up again once its lost the signal and of course it loses the signal when you change batteries.

I hope this is some use if nothing else it may help you focus down on the problem.

Regards Frank
