I am thinking of installing solar onto our RS does anyone have info on self trackers ie Alden or Oyster versus fixed panels other than the cost. Question

A tracker is much more efficient as it faces the sun directly all day. Having said that, you can get several flat panels for the same price and get similar performance.

Main advantage is the saving on roof space!!!

Its gotta be a traka and for that MH one of those will full two way internet capability. Alden or similar. Why have anything less?

I'm waiting for a nicely engineered flat sat dish back-to-back with 85W solar and foolproof tracking of manual peaking plus auto takeover. This eliminates the need for GPS, electronic compass and motors repeaking by UV LED control feedback, perhaps when initiated with lots of cloud cover. I put Roadpro on the case.

2nd best, if you have roof access even if only leaning through Heki, is solar only with azimuth tracking and manual elevation.
