I'm confused of status model nos. there is a 530S, a 530/5 and a 530/10 I saw a few on E bay but before I buy I want to compare one with the other, any one that has it figured out let me know. and where cheapest price is.

Thanks

They are the same ariel its just the mast thats different i think the 530/10 has a longer mast if you google status it will tell i cnat remember to be honest as we dont fit a lot of aerials.

They are all the same aerial. There is no such thing as a 530S, it is someone who cannot read. Difference is the 530/5 is the standard aerial and the 530/10 is the same aerial with extra lift.

Yes the only difference ids the mast. The 530/10 will fit in wardrobes and comes with an extra support for the mast, as the 530/5 fits in top lockers. Apart from that the same.

Hi,

530/5 used to be the short mast, 530/10 used to be the longer mast.
530S could possibly have been an interpretation of the 'short' mast model by someone.

....I say 'used to be' because if you look at the Grade website, they now appear to have renamed them the 530 and the 540. Wink

There was a post on here about aerials, and recommend an Itialian make, Telco teleplus 2 TV aerial.
I made enquiries, a company from Bradford were supplying them at £99.00. They have since ran out, so I just recently bought mine from

www.magnummotorhomes.co.uk

For £111.60 delivered.

Where we stay has a terrible reception, but this thing is brilliant, pluggedt in, turned it round a bit, and hey presto dozens of digital channels.
Definitely a winner.

Hi Phil.
Can these 530 be mounted on the external ladder.

Hi Ramos

I dont see why not. Never seen it done before, it would have to be a bit of a DIY project. Also it would need to be able to move.

Status or Vision plue (same people) Grade UK do have other style aerials which are a lot cheaper and designed for the job you want to do.
