Motorway tolls in Begium by 2013. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Depending on the charge, this might affect the most cost effective route to Italy/Southern Europe in future...

Let's hope there's a vast improvement in some of the road surfaces by then!

Well for Italy it would be Calais - Arras - Charleville - Metz. I would need to get the map out but from memory it is the N43/E44 - done once on an overnight journey with a sharrabang. Never used the route with the motorhome due to my requirement for cheap diesel in Luxembourg.

It would hit Luxembourg for six - not worth the diversion for cheaper fuel.

Maybe we are next.

Was mentioned on the radio the other day that an MP had suggested petrol rationing.

Can't imagine sitting on a train into Manchester United/City players who cannot get enough fuel for their Bentleys.!
