I cannot help directly but I tried to mount my HTC Desire into my Sprinter cab using a Brodit mount. I found that the standard method , which doesn't use the vents, simply didn't work because of the 'embroidery' that my van builder adds to the standard Sprinter dash in the way of leather. In the end Brodit came up with a vent mount and that works well.
