Just came across this for sale - from what I can see it looks like it's the now unavailable no 30 day expiry Vodaphone dongles they have for sale;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360339 388535&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Looks like it could be some sort of ebay clearance site for Argos.

Hi before I got my I Pad I was looking for the no expiry 30 day dongle.

I don't need one now. But I can't see where it says it is the non expiry one.....just checking for anyone who might. Am I missing something ?

Hezbez can you help me to understand please.

My take on this is that it is your sim card deal which determines whether your credit expires or not. I think the hardware, in this case a dongle can have no effect what so ever on whether or not credit expires. I may be wrong can you please explain.

Also why do you think these particular dongles can do this, have I missed something?

I am genuinely curious about this, Alan.

It says in the description
"[15 TopUp gets you 1GB of data.
Doubles up as a memory stick using a MicroSD card.
The only pay as you surf mobile broadband with no 30-day expiry.
Compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Mac 10.4 and 10.5.
3.6 Mbps download speed.
Plug in and go.
See vodafone.co.uk for details."

I bought 2 already as we got the nod on Motorroamers yesterday and they're selling so fast they'll probably sell out tomorrow

My watched list says 64 left.

Alan,

This page should help explain:
http://tiny.cc/vodafone123

K3565R USB dongle
If you have a K3565R USB dongle (you'll find the number on the back) your data allowance expires after 30 days but you get 2GB of data for £15*.

K3565 USB dongle
If you have a K3565 USB dongle you get 1GB of data for £15. There's no time limit on this credit, but if you don't use your USB dongle for 180 days your account will be suspended.

Although the Argos page on eBay does not mention the model number, I suspect in this case it is a K3565 which I also think is discontinued by Vodafone (but as the above T&C's were updated 1st Feb it looks as if they are continuing to honour the service.

I think it's the K3565 I have - been using it for over a year now (£15 credit to start with) and it's still got about £5 on it.
I use it once or twice a month when away in the van in the UK.

The one advertised looks like it could be the same as the one I have. If so, well worth getting one.
