Our reversing camera has stopped working. The screen which is a wired 5" Vision shows the red light so power is getting there, when it is turned on/off the screen changes to a different shade of black.
I have checked the wiring to the camera which seems ok. There is a box under the dashboard which i presume is some sort of amplifier all cables are connected to it & the 12v power fuse is ok.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?
If the box has RCA inputs you can feed a picture from a camera or video to check if it is the camera or the screen.
Most likely the camera has gone down.

If the camera was added post production, it may be worth having a look at the back of your M/H where the cable comes through the back wall. On mine the electrician had cut and joined the cable just inside the 'van and fitted a little box over the join. It is just possible that a fault (dry joint or broken cable) could be found here.
I lost my picture! My screen allows for two cameras (I only have one) and I had no picture because the monitor was switched to camera 2 (which I do not have and was not aware of). I mentioned this problem to the supplier, who pushed the buttonhttp://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules/Forums/images/smiles/redface.gif
Good Luck!
