Hi Tyreman
A lot of the old analogue signals are being turned off now and by sept most big towns will be digital only.
Do you have a digital reciever? If you are just using an old telly with an analogue reciever then you will have great difficulty in getting a tv picture.

Give me a bit more info of your set up and I will try to help you further

Phill

The Richer Sounds tv is excellent although viewing angle is a bit restricted. I am using a Camos sat dish, but if I have an obstruction in the way then I have to use an omni directional aerial. I find that this operates well where the digital signal is good, and of course I don't have to do any aerial tweaking. I previously had the Status 530, which was very good when I was able to find the signal, which was not always easy.

I understand that you can find the transmitter position by putting your postcode into this website--

Thanks both for you interest,
Phil, the tv i`m using is a freeview set so should be ok for new digital channels but the fringe signal finder says UHF on it,is this where i`m losing it ??,the status 530 seems to be used pretty widely and its linked to a signal booster...thanks ..dave
