Anyone have any advice on which of the following controllers would be best, MH - AT Tracker 2010, 2 x 110amp leisure batteries

Stecca PR1010

Schaudt LRS1218

Morningstar SunSaver Duo

These are the choices I have been given I'm thinking of a 135W Panel supplied and fitted by

All are respectable controllers.

The latter two allow for a charge to go to the engine battery as well (if wired up appropriately), keeping that topped up.

One thing to check is the voltage they charge with (usually selectable according to battery type). When I was looking for a controller I found many of them had too low a voltage for my battery, or at least lower than allowed, so limiting charge.

Stewart, I've only got experience of the Schaudt controller. It's strength lies in its seamless integration with Schaudt's Electroblock. If you don't have an Electroblock there's no point having one IMO. It's plug & play with the electroblock & then a bit of button pressing to get the display panel to acknowlege its presence. It can carry a maximum of 14 A will cope with your panel + more should you choose later on.

The Schaudt controller has no built in display or flashing lights. IE no indication that there's any charging taking place. So really best suited to integration with an existing Schaudt system & display panel.

You can wire a panel directly into the Sergent control box and not bother with a seperate controller/regulator. This has an auto changeover to charge the vehicle battery when the leisure battery is fully charged.
The only down side is the panel must be rated at 100w or LESS.

I have a Stecca PR1010 fitted along with 2 x 85A leisure battery's and hooked up to a 130W solar panel. They were fitted by Adventure Motorhomes a couple of years ago and i have never had a problem with it.

Another vote for the Steca regulator, had mine for 3 years now and has worked perfectly well keeping my 2 x 125A/H Elecsols leisure batteries topped up from 2x80 watt solar panels.

I concur with Davesport, if you have the shauldt system already go for their regulator, then you can see the solar charge on your main display.
