Not quite sure if I have the wrong end of the stick but I've a 2011 Transit based Chausson Flash 28 & it definitely sports 2 arm rests per seat.

I'd like to know if you can upholster them though.

There has been discussion of this on the Ford Transit forum too.

Basically it is impracticable as there are no fittings in the metalwork of the seat frame to fit them.

You could remove all the upholstery and padding, strip down to bare metalwork and then weld appropriate fittings on.............

Funnily enough we have just removed one from our 09 reg Transit. (Chausson).

It was at the wrong height for my wife and its presence made it much more difficult to rotate the passenger seat.
