We are off to Spain for a few weeks in a month or so. I know from previous experience that a 60cm dish runs out of steam as you go south. I have just bought a new 80x 90cm (biggest that I can accommodate) dish but the vertical tilt adjustment of the dish is not easy and I anticipate some difficulties (bigger the dish narrower the angel of reception.

Can anyone recommend a good dish type that gives the easiest adjustments for regular set up?

Thanks,

Well a dish is a dish.... If the dish is an off set type then 800mm dish should get you to south of Barcelona in an ideal world you would need a 1.5 to 2 mtr dish.... Depending on what programs you would like to watch... I would suggest what you have you use, either on your van which is a better bet or on a stand mounted on the ground, just make sure you have a clear site of the satellite cluster you would like to use.... There's many more suggestion but this is a start... Or to the other end of the market I would go for the twin. LMB cap 900 series.... Lucky you to be able to go to Spain for that time you will get very hot if you intend to go later than mid June ... Enjoy your trip

Once you get so far down there is a huge leap in required dish sizes.
With Regard BBC and ITV etc then a 60cm will make do as far as Salou area. Once past that you start jumping to 1.2mtr and then even bigger as you get south of Valencia..

Dont forget some sites do have a TV plug in system and by using a TV aerial lead (long one) and tuning in your analogue section on the TV there may be channels available.

It depends on what you really want to watch, Currently I am in Benidorm and my 60cm dish will get me Sky news and BBC news off Astra 2a.. But I tune to Astra at 19 degrees, still get the news but also a few old movie stations and a couple of CBS channels..

You can also receive True Movies in Benidorm with a 60cms dish and if you have a Sky Box with card you can also receive ITV via Other Channels. I can't recall how to do this but others on here might advise.
