Hi - I've recently bought a 2011 Chausson Flash 28 on a Transit base. On collection, along with the habitation keys, I was presented with 2 Ford keys, one having buttons and blue in colour, the other just a normal key without buttons.
Is this standard issue or should I have had 2 blue keys. I'm worried in case I lose the blue on & the other wont disable the immobiliser.

If it is like my Ducato the 2nd key operates the immoboliser, it just doesn't have remote central locking. Ray
Ps: I think the blue fob is charged when in the ignition so make sure you do it regularly.

I got two keys the same as you. Twho of the buttons on the blue key are the cab central locking and the one with boot lid picture on opens the habitation door

I have something similar - on one set I have the button to press to disable the immobiliser / alarm but not on the other.
I recall when we had the same with a car and lost the key. It costs a fortune to get a new one - and importantly, you need to keep the security number of your immobiliser in the house, not in the van.
