Please tell me honestly what you think of this solar kit on ebay, is it worth it or not, or has any one purchased a different one from ebay

For the price it looks good value for what you get. They aren't the latest technology by the look of it so you may want to ask them who made the panel and ask if for a slightly higher price would they include a MPPT controller rather than the PWM controller they are offering. Worth a try.... as I see they do stock MPPT controllers for another £40 retail. MPPT will get you between 15 and 20% extra amperage in winter when you need it most

They are UK based and not located somewhere is the far east so if that size is what you want then its not a bad kit price.

what is the latest technology Question look OK to me
Prices are all going up so it's not bad all inclusive.
For me tho the footprint of those brackets isn't big enough for sikaflex alone and I don't like to use screws into the roof. Personally I'd attach some 3mm thick aluminium plates to the bottom of them something like 250mm long by 50mm wide.

Monocrystalline are a better made panel than Polycrystalline however they both produce the same output. Although the advert says Monocrystalline the panels look similar to Polycrystalline but I could be wrong - hence my advice to check with the seller first.

The newer technology uses Amorphous Silicon and are more efficient and while cheaper to produce have not really hit the market in quantity yet

One big advantage of Amorphous technology is that the multiple circuits within the cells can deal with cloud or shade cover and still produce power whereas the earlier structures will loose much of its output in cloud or shade. Significant weight reduction is another advantage.

True but look at their web site where it calls them all mono yet clearly there are both types.
