I have a Veba system and would like to add another camera to act as a mirror (straight back instead of down looking). Must I use a Veba camera or are they all the same wiring. Is this a do-it-yourself job?
I have already replaced a faulty camera and joined the multiple cables but am not sure where any additional cables from a new camera will go. Has anyone experience of doing this? Question Question
Alan

I use the same one for both jobs Alan, I have angled my camera up a bit. It's a compromise, I can't quite see the back bumper but I can see maybe 50 ft behind me and after that I can see in the wing mirrors. It works fine for me and might save you a few bob. You could give it a try and see how you go, Alan.

Some have an audio and a power feed as two separate wires. Others have a combined 4 core cable with a waterproof screw together connector. Easy to see the difference.

SORRY I meant video not audio Embarassed

Thank you very much Erneboy! It's the simple ideas that often work best.
If we should meet, you will recognise me by the bruises on my forehead.... aquired from banging it on the wall, wondering why I did not think of moving the camera Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Idea

...and thanks Techno100, I have something to fall back on if the above is not ok!
