Welcome to the DIY solar club.. Smile

Out of interest. I bought a pair of these in anticipation that I may fit a second panel..

Seemed an easy plug in option..

was easier than i anticipated, and and am quite impressed with the charging , even in the drive dull today 1.2 to 1.8 amps.

Hardest part was convincing the good lady we needed one! Laughing

once the dog gets all clear from vet in June re health we can plan our assault on France.

I've got a 130w unit on mine and today with good sun it was showing 0.5 to 1 amp on the control panel. I've washed and polished it with Mer recently, could this have affected the panel?

if the batteries are fully charged I would only expect a charge rate of 1 to 2 amps.... may be that could be a reason...

Switch everything on and you should see it increase as the battery voltage is sensed to be falling
