Read lots of reasons on the web why my horn might of stopped working, I thought I would start by removing the centre of the steering wheel (horn push without airbags) and check that end first.
I can not see for the life of me how to get it off. Do I just pull? - before doing so I thought I should check because I really don't want to break something!!?
Mine was the earth under the horn in the engine compartment.
Ray.

I had the same problem with my old 2000 boxer, AutoSleeper Talisman, from new, would be the older model to yours, horn intermittant.
The actual horn push in the center of the steering wheel just pulled off, plastic clip arrangement, all OK here.
Eventually had to go a bit further and remove the steering wheel, a big socket required, can`t remember the exact size.
Under that, there was a very simple slip ring arrangement, just bent the contact "finger" a bit for more tension, cleaned the mating surfaces on the finger and the ring, applied a smear of Vaseline, put it all together again, no more trouble.
As I said, the arrangement may be slightly different on your model, however, there has to be a slip ring system in there somewhere to allow the steering wheel to rotate.
As mentioned in the other post, it may well be an earth problem, the horn push does switch to earth, 0 volts, to activate, the +12 Volts is fed directly to the horn via a fuse.
If the problem is intermittant as mine was, it is more likely to be a steering wheel slip ring problem.

If its a round disc in the centre that operates the horn it should just pop out
If its the whole middle part of the steering wheel that operates the horn there are three screws on the underside of the wheel spokes that holds it in place
