well thats our week stuffed fuel pump broke m/home has only done 22000 miles and no pumps any where been told by the dealer pump will be about 2 weeks to get in so that will be 6 weeks
iam so pixxxd with tham
thats better rant over for now

If it's the low pressure one in your fuel tank you can quite often get new ones on eBay (cheaper and quicker).
If you Google the pump I bet you can get one next day delivery.

Its only Tuesday don't give up.

no its the new high pressure type .
on sunday the pump made a load noise and engine warning light came on so took it to the dealers .who said yes the pump had
gone and thay would get one in only to find these are on back order . and will take at least 2 week to get one .
phoned peugeot what a fxxxxxx waste of time thay are .
we had got a nice long holliday from work booked as well .

Loads of Boxer Hdi HP fuel pumps on Ebay used and new.
I don't know which model you have but here's one for an X250 2.2 for example:

The new high pressure pumps are not only smaller but a lot cheaper than they used to be.
Get the part number from the garage and start Googling or eBaying it's easy.
Before the days of common rail etc. diesels a high pressure pump would cost more like £1k.

hi thanks guys for the replys
the part no is 1525hr its not the same as the 2.8 or the 2.2
i have tryed to sort this from about 9am this morning
i have to say peugeot customer sevice is ****. thay have to be the most useless lot i have ever spoke too.

If its a Bosch pump which I presume it is, you can get a refurbed one next day.
