Just got back from a weekend away visiting some French Xmas markets. Last night stopped up at Cap Blanc Nez, They have finished the improvements Question Question Question . the upshot is wooden height barriers and an unrestricted bus parking area. I don't know how long they have been finished but it was really weird being the only motorhome on the Cap. I hunted round with a torch (it was very dark) but could not find any restriction notices and the height barriers seemed to be very easy to open being only held in place by sprung loaded bolts

We popped over to Cap Blanc Nez a couple of weeks back in daylight hoping that we could stop as usual but it was obviously an area for busses only clearly marked and cars under the height barrier, it looked like a deliberate ploy to keep motorhomes away but i do hope i am wrong.

That is exactly how we found it but I figured that there wouldn't be very many busses up there at eight o'clock in the evening in December
