I am converting this van to a motor caravan. I wish to cover the sliding door inner panel in material to match the rest of the conversion. I have done the rear doors but have come un-stuck on the sliding door. It has the usual push in fixings, but the opening lever & lock have no signs of fixings. The opening lever has an inset disc which I assume covers the fixing, however the lock switch has no sign of a fixing. A heads up would be appreciated.

Managed to sort it my-self, the lock knob is just a friction fit and needed a good pull. See picture below & on the build gallery at http://www.motorhomefacts.com/modules.php?name=gallery2&g2_itemId=119278&g2_page=23

Opened the van this morning, found the lock knob in the footwell. Examined the spigot it fits on & found a 3mm square cut out, obviously the knob must have corresponding blips in the moulding. So it looks as if the carpet & glue under the knob will have to be removed to allow it to seat properly Crying or Very sad
