I have a 85 watt Solar panel that charges the leisure battery while in storage. Unfortunately I can't keep it at home & there is no Electricity on site.
I am happy how it operates & keeps the LB charged while not in use.

Question, what do I need to do/fit to get the Solar panel to also charge the starter battery, either after the leisure battery is full or during the charging process.
Is a diy job?
Appreciate any advice (in laymans terms)

In laymans terms you do the following.

Buy a length of wire of at least 1.5 mm sq. Run it from the leisure battery + terminal to the vehicle battery + terminal. Fit an inline fuse holder and put a 10 amp fuse in. Job done.

If you forget about the link and start your engine, the fuse will blow. Put a reminder on the steering wheel. Laughing

Following advice from this site I ordered from CAK Tanks Ltd a "Battery Charger Prime/Second Battery Charge Equaliser Product Code BCM12 - Total cost including postage £29.18.
The electronic device allows both the vehicle and leisure batteries to be kept fully charged via the solar panel.

My knowledge on car electrics is limited but I found it very easy to set up. Very pleased with it.

Totally agree with Geomar. I have one of those controllers fitted giving 90% to LB and 10 % to vehicle battery. This was after losing the van battery the previous winter whilst in storage [outdoor]. Easy to wire following the included instructions.

I have a Battery Master from VanBits.... and it works. It has three wires to connect near to the leasure battery and a little light. The whole thing is automatic and about the size of a matchbox.
As they say.... Simples! Wink

If your Burstner has a Schaudt regulator, why not fit the Schaudt's LR1218 solar charge regulator then it will charge both batteries the same as being on hook up. Dead easy to fit.
