We are on the road for the first time in our second hand Murvi Morello, traveling Europe (France, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Germany & Spain) for 9 months we didnt have the time or the finances to install rechargable bottles and are just coming to the end of our first bottle of Calor Gas.

Does anyone know where (if at all possible) gas bottles can be disposed of? We are currently in Italy, and from the few forums on the subject and from what I have read it looks like gas suppliers will not want our empty bottle.

Any help or suggestions much appreciated

Thanks in advance

Alan

Hi Alan.
Don't know about Italy but in France they have general dumps called 'Dishetterie's' where you can drop off anything. Possible they have something similar in Italy like Dishetterieoo.

Hi Alan.

Why not ask a fellow Brit on your travels if he would like your bottle? I'm sure somebody would take up your offer especially if it was a calor-lite.You never know you might just get a few bottles of wine for your offer!!
